How To Enter Jungian Analysis
Is Jungian Analysis For You?
Jungian analysis is not for everyone. Analysis, Jung says, is a "confrontation with the unconscious" that requires considerable courage. Is Jungian analysis for you? Only if you are prepared to undergo a descent into the depths of the psyche and encounter the images in the unconscious in an effort to become more conscious.
Jungian analysis may be for you if:
- You believe that the unconscious exists and that the purpose it serves is to exert a profound, potentially very valuable influence on the attitudes of the ego.
- You sincerely want to become more conscious.
- You are honest and brave enough to confront the truth of the unconscious and experience a transformation of the psyche.
